My idea of touring is
- riding on an ultra light bling race bike - not carrying any bags on the bike - having a support vehicle where I can get food and water from (even better if a "fellow tourer" were to go back to the vehicle and fetch food/water for me) - the crew in the support vehicle will fix any flats/mechanicals for me - at the end of the day, check into a good hotel, get a massage and have dinner cooked by someone else

There are not many framebuilders in Aus specialising is such bike but it may be worth checking on 'www.velosmith.com.au' (http://velosmith.com.au) who have good reputation.

Oh sorry. My understanding is that if you put it in a conventional frame with vertical dropouts you need to use a chain tensioner which is what I want to get rid of. SJS use a concentric bottom bracket to adjust the chain.
