  1. I just got back from the doctor's where I had my ECG. Good news! My heart is completely back to
    normal & I won't have to have that cardio inversion - Yippeeeee!! Needless to say, I am so
    relieved. Now I will just have to keep that caffeine out of my diet. It's funny though, I was
    never a chocolate freak, but now that I can't have it, I want it all the time - really weird,
    isn't it! Elaine K

  9. That is wonderful news, Elaine!!! I am so happy you don't have to go through that procedure again.
    It's harder to give things up when we are told we can't have them, don't know why though. Do you
    have to eliminate caffeine totally, or can you maybe just cut back dramatically? Maybe you could
    squeeze just a small piece of chocolate in on occassion?

    remember the consequences and how they feel, its your body and you choice,

    combination of all the caffeine I was drinking, plus the weight. Now it's just the caffeine mainly,
    but I was under quite a bit of stress at the same time, so I guess it did play a wee part in it. I
    know about the caffeine, mainly because I had 2 pieces of chocolate cake on Christmas day & my
    heart immediately started missing beats and I had no stress that day. The next day, my rhythym was
    back to normals, so I can take a wee bit of caffeine, but in small quantities & mainly in the am
    when I take my beta blocker. I can live without caffeine, but I will miss it. I know that if I don't
    want to have serious heart problems, I must keep away from it, so I'll just have to eat cookies

  20. Some of the hot chocolate mixes and instant pudding mixes are chocolate flavored, and not real
    chocolate. But you'd have to read the packages to make sure.
