Good cycling clothes

1st welcome. As far as a "Cheep" brand I really have not found any that worked for me. A lot of them are more cruddy mesh then actual material. It is not cheep, but SQ Pro is 1 of the best that you can get in my opinion. But I will let you know that there is a very famous saying on here. You get what you pay for.

The on line retailers house brand items can be hit or miss. The performance brand stuff I have found is a bit better than the nashbar. In general, the name brand stuff seems a bit higher on quality and comfort and there are more places to get it and get useful reviews.

My rule of thumb is to have nice bibs or shorts and go cheap on the shirts. Most of the time I ride wearing a dri-fit type of t-shirt or for something more form fitting, underarmor.

Ebay has served well for the shorts/bibs/suits that I have. Given preference, I take a suit or bib shorts any day because I hate pulling at waist bands. As far as new, Aerotech Designs seems decently priced and durable, as is Performance and Nashbar. Avoid department stores. Some mall stores and Sports stores have stuff for "cycling" and the cuts and fits are not for a competitive riding position(more for upright).

Maybe you got to have a look on ebay! or search what you want by google. Too many! i know a cheap one cycling-jerseys4u.com but don't know how reliable their credit and also the item quality! anyone know that? advise?

You can go to eBay and find new clothes. I guess if you're the sort of person that's ok with it, you can also buy used clothes there. Frankly, I can't ever see wanting to own used bibs or shorts. I also don't buy used underwear.

You can also keep an eye on the website "Chainlove" (used to be Bonktown). They have deals on clothes, parts, bikes, etc. The deals last for something like 15 minutes and then the next deal pops up. There used to be a browser popup thingy that would give you a deal notification. FWIW you get pretty much what you pay for to an extent when it comes to cycling clothes. Although I don't see how a $250 jersey is any better than the $100 jersey you may buy or, frankly, some of the $50-60 jerseys. But jerseys are not the most important thing to worry about (Maydog is right, unless you're on long rides where you need jersey pockets, a drifit exercise shirt works great). The shorts you buy are far more important. My "go to" shorts are by Gore and the chamois is the best I've used so far (and got them on sale at Sun and Ski Sports). Good luck.

I'd agree with this (and alienator) - if you're going to spend money, spend it on your bibs. And buy them new...used bibs...ew.

Shirts/jerseys, you can buy them fairly cheap. I have a couple that are kinda [censored], so I use them when I'm just going out for an hour alone, and use my 4 comfortable/quality jerseys for when I'm going to be seen in public. But I don't think I spent more than $25 on any of them.

You can also try Amazon.com- they sometimes do free shipping depending on what you're buying and how much you spend. The only catch is knowing what size you are but if you are buying online that is always hit or miss for me as I am hard to fit and generally hit "in between" sizes.

You can also ask your LBS if they do sales- mine does a big sale once or twice a year- or check your LBS for a clearance rack. As long as you aren't too picky about color and are willing to wait/browse for something that fits.

If you have the option of buying only one thing at a time though go for padded shorts or bibs. They make a big difference if you are going any kind of distance.

Wiggle have a line of gear called DHB and is pretty good value for money. Not quite top of the line (it is aimed at entry level) and if you are in bunch rides you may not command as much respect platered in DHB gear - though for the price you are doing well.

For Jerseys in particular, check-out Prendas.co.uk . They have a lot of attractive jerseys (and knicks) with attractive styling. They also have certain pro team brands that is from a year or two ago, so you get a great brand and kit for a really attractive price.
