Im still struggling with the logic of: selling OS product in OZ, somehow keeping dollars in Oz???

Cripes. I said your refund policy was probably different. But now that you have so eloquently (hmmm) responded I would like to point out a flaw in your logic. Your price, when postage costs are added, is MORE THAN the alternative, even when taking into account tax and duty, not that duty is relevant for goods at those prices.

I just received some cool stuff from probikekit recently after about 5 working days!!! whoooaaaa - most ebayers can't match that. Of course there are SOME good deals to be had on ebay but have to be quite judicious in your choices. Also probikekit offers insurance on all postage (and compare their postage prices to most other online stores) and refunds! And no I have no working relationship with them :p - oh wait I do - I'm an occasional customer😄

um... lol.. someone sounds like they are on 'the gear'....

I think that you have missed the point that sinus was raising. I don't
think he was being supportive, in fact, I think he was being sarcastic as
Probikekit offer a pretty good return policy and will even cover postage if
the return is due to their stuff-up.

Speaking of postage.......one thing that gets my craw on ebay is inflated
postage. A lot of people (such as myself) who buy on ebay also sell on ebay
and so are pretty familiar with postage costs. I am up to about 200 items
sold and I am pretty sure that you would be able to fit every one of your
items into a small pre-paid bag that cost $4.50 ea when you buy a pack of
10. I can't believe that you are charging $8 or $9 per item for postage
when I could order the whole lot from Probikekit and only get charged $18.00
for postage.

I wish you all the best in getting the prices that you are after but I think
that it is a bit rich to take the moral high ground about shopping local
when it appears that you have bought this stuff from overseas (apologies if
this is not the case). When you say that "...you keep some of your dollar
here..." I can only assume that by "here" you mean in your pocket??

As for being able to build great bikes in Aust for less than they can be
built in Asia........if only!! But there is no way that this is going to
happen and buying from you on ebay is certainly not contributing towards it.
