They're managing to make this stage interesting, Savoldelli and company (Simoni, Mazzoleni, Garzelli, Bettini) attacking on the descent of the San Marco, now a minute ahead of Di Luca/Schlecks group.
Reckon Bettini will take the win.

Yeah! Garzelli. I knew he would win a stage.
Poor Bettini is cursed for this Giro.
What a cheeky move by Simoni to grab some time. Tomorrow is going to be great.
Stages 15, 17 and the TT should be great. Simoni might be able to let it rip over the next two big mountain stages.
How do you think things will shape up between DiLuca, Cunego and Simoni factoring in those 3 pivotal stages?
Amazing amazing stage. Reasonthe Giro is the best Grand Tour. Every year it seems to generate this sort of drama
At one stage there was about 4 fragmented groups up the road from the Di Luca groups, and each with a big player.
Great ride by Simoni, as well as Garzelli.
Tomorrow might be the clincher. Simoni needs another 1 -2 minutes on Di Luca.
I agree the Giro has been much incredibly exciting the past two years! Todays stage was awesome!
Gutsy Garzelli! Good example of a never-say-die attitude. On the rather tough little climb up to the city Simoni clearly had to upper hand being a pure climber, but Garzelli just kept at him and reeled him in, the look on Simonis face said it all. A well-deserved win.
