  1. The Giro has had its problems this year, but there has been some great racing Cadel Evans has impressed although I think Tyler Hamilton will wrap up the overall in the final time trial. It should be a great climax, lets hope the Tour de France is as close!

  2. When the big guns went out I though it would be a boring Giro....how surprised (and impressed) was I after yesterday's stage? 6 riders within a minute of each other on GC after the hardest mountain stage? When last did we see that?

    Certainly more exciting than the 'war of attrition' style Tour de France.

    My money is on Evans - if he puts enough time into Hamilton today. Hamilton is a better TT rider but looked a bit wobbly on the climbs yesterday and the his team pull him back after he was dropped. Having said that there are 4 others with great chances - long live wide open racing!
