  1. not really deep at all...

OK i won't lie and say i'm following each day in detail.
but from the "cycling headlines" all i'm reading is lance lagging behind, etc.
he's not supposed to be leading or win this grand tour, right?
i guess any armstrong news is good news..??

    you have to love lance.

  2. ok
now i'm caught up on the happening thanks to cycling news dot com. (not advertising, just think it's the best site for pro cycling info)

it's the 100th giro in italy. that's pretty awesome.
good for petachi. 2 strong wins to start the race
leipheimer seems to be US favorite. go levi.

i wish i could be in italy this month.
    is anyone here there?

  3. me but I'm italian 😄

    Nope-

Following how the BIG receiver of an appearance fee(Armstrong) is front and center about the 'danger' of stage 9 in Milan, celebrating the 10th anniversary?
I think if nothing else he needs to be quiet, follow the leaders in the peloton(NOT him, he is a mere participant in this race) and race his bike. He needs to put on a good show for that seven figure fee, not stick his finger in the face of the Giro organization.

  8. What's the big deal with tram tracks and cobble stones?

It's not like they're new or rare in Europe.......

    Buncha whiners.

Agree. The stage was announced how long ago? The streets and route didn't change. How about a little pre-race planning in terms of equipment and tactics instead of this 'show'.

  10. Now things are heating up in the giro

after a crazy long ITT, menchov has powered to the lead.

yeah, armstrong has kept pretty quiet, but amazingly is in the top like 20?

    wish i was there.

    great tour of italy.

    armstrong finishes 12th overall. amazing.

another russian, Evgeny Sokolov, finishes last in giro, 5 hours behind compat, menchov.
