  1. My LBS is selling a Giant TCR 3 Composite
    ...Tiagra 9-spd Groupo
    ...Fibre frame
    ...Alex, 32H rim
    ...TruVativ Touro, 30/42/52T crank
    ...
    ...

The thing is that I can't find such a model in the Giant's website!

Has anyone come across or has such a road bike?

I understand that TCR Comp 3 is only available in Asia.
    Where are you from?
Over here the TCR Comp 3 comes with full 105 groupo.
TCR Comp 3 are using the same frame as TCR Comp 1 and 2
    except for the groupo.

What is the selling price for the TCR Comp 3 with Tiagra over at your place?

WHich LBS in Singapore is selling it?
    That will be a steal?
The TCR 3 (alloy) with Tiagra mix is already selling for S$1300.00.

was S$1500 3 weeks ago, S$1450 last week, and now
    S$1400 :p

WHich LBS in Singapore is selling it?
A shop in Tampines, Giant bike dealer and showroom
    Tel :61877736

    That will be a steal?

OK. Maybe it wasn't a steal compared to S$1300. 😄
So where can I find this shop that sells it @ S$1300??? 😕

    OK. Here is the story...
Went down to the shop (for the 4th time) thinking that I will be really getting it... but closer look and... what a dissapointment!
ONLY the fork is carbon, and not the entire frame (it's aluminium) 😠

Anyway, I managed to test it out (the TCR 3) and the ride was cool, I was zooming around the carpark at maybe 30km/h... easily.

Shifting (tiagra) is smooth, nice turning and handling. Compared to a mtb, gosh! This thing accelerate like nobody's damn business.. in other words... it flys (imagine if it is a full carbon :p)

Maybe I am not use to the drop bars, so it was kind of scary riding with traffic buzzing by. So didn't do a sprint test, but I won't doubt its performance.

so re-re-re-re-reconsidering. If I strike some fortune this Wed at Gentin Highlands, maybe I will just grab it, or even the TCR2 (S$2000+)

** Hey, don't forget to tell me where the shop that sells the TCR3 at S$1300.
    ** THANKS!!

    Hi Sunburnt,

You mentioned was a TCR 3 and not TCR Comp 3.
TCR Comp 3 is full carbon fibre and that is why I said it is a steal to buy it at S$1450.00 because it is selling here (KL) for RM$5500.

TCR 3 is selling at RM$2900.(with currect exchange should be between S$1300 - 1400).

TCR (allu or carbon) frame are the same geometrically.

You are right, the TCR is really a great bike. I am planing to get it soon...budgeting now.

Spend too much on my mtb .

    Thanks for the website.

GoodLuck at Genting and hope you can get your TCR Comp 3 and let me know about it.

    Happy Riding
