Nothing if; (a) you accept everything in the Vrijman report to be factually
accurate and without baseless assumptions and/or conclusions; (b) you accept
that Vrijman was really independent even though he was selected solely by an
interested party, to wit, Hein Verbruggen who has denied widespread doping
in cycling and whose organization (UCI) has been a financial beneficiary of
Armstrong's largess; (c) you accept that WADA and the French Sports Ministry
were under a legal obligation to answer Vrijman's inquiries and thus
improperly refused; (d) you accept that Vrijman properly assessed the
scientific testing protocols of the Mabrey lab without said lab answering
    his interrogatories.

I hope you're not intimating that the Posties were a bunch of [censored]. We
put that Postal Bus video to rest here some time ago. :-)

then what would people be saying? LANCE'll be damned by some no matter what

    They're just good friends? ;-)

Anyway the truth is probably somewhere between the extremes being
presented. Pounds behavior, and the questions about the labs and
procedures have been raised and confirmed before, at times by their own
admissions. There's plenty of blame to go around, but the system HAS to
be credible or it's nothing but a formal lynch mob, and at this point
Pound is up the tree with the rope.
He's GOT to go and the people around him held responsible for their
actions, just as the dopers need to be held responsible.
IMO doping is a much less serious offense than perverting what is
supposed to be an objective justice system.
    No justice No peace!

Absolutely. I'm reluctant to accept the guilt of anyone under the
current system, not just those who deny it (Tyler Hamilton, Geneviève
Jeanson) but even those who "confess" under duress (Millar, Virenque).

I don't know - we don't really have the East Coast - West Coast thing
anymore and the nasty Monday in-fighting from the East Coasties that
cut each other off at the most recent crit has gone away. Nobody has
seriously called anyone out or even to the local Starbucks to fight. I
doubt we've matured, but maybe we're getting old.

[censored]. You're right. Even the evidence I've cited suggests that we've
taken to reminiscing about the old days like a bunch of old farts. Not
like the old days when fledgling boxing promoters looked to us for, uh,
    comic relief.

Maybe I should call someone out. Let's see, who lives in the Pacific
NW? Ryan Cousineau. Heather. Jim Flom. Hmmm. They can all kick my
    ass. Not gonna do it.

Since I work for for a major regional airlines, I can fly pretty much
anywhere on the west coast for free. Maybe somebody else should call ME
out. I'm free the week after next.

So if anyone on the west coast is free the week after next, get in touch
with me so I can say something offensive for you to call me out on.
Please be 98 pounds. And a weakling.

I can call you out but according to Keunuch I am skinny and little, so I
probably better bring Ryan along. He looks pretty rugged. I called Laff@me
out once but he got his shorts all bunched up in a knot and threatened to
tell on me. I'd bring Heather but she refuses to be seen in public with me.
But she's probably closer to 98 pounds.

But if you will fly me to Las Vegas this summer, no lie, I'll call you out
    solo.

    Happy to oblige,

Been there, seen lots. What I've learned is that people are people,
not some stereotype. Doesn't matter what faith, color, sexual
preference, sex etc...they are there are good, bad, and in-between in
every "grouping". You can intelligently disagree with groups that issue
religious, or political positions you oppose, but that doesn't say they
are bad, or ignorant people. They just have a different opinion.
Slamming a whole group is just ignorant at best and people need to be
called on it. Like anything else I know good and bad people living in a
trailer park. Lots of different reasons to live there. Trashing them,
as a group, is ignorant and arrogant unless it's part of a comedy
routine. Then people need to lighten up and not be working so hard to
    be offended.
Yep, I'm judgemental, and can be an [censored] too. Everyone is
judgemental, no way to avoid it.

nonono, it was because i was working on my deck that i wouldn't hook up
with you last year, not because i refuse to be seen in public with you 🙂

anyway, i am just as close to 146 pounds as i am to 98 pounds. when i
hang out with "normal" people, i'm fairly scrawny in comparison, but
when i hang out with bike racers, i'm a big healthy girl, sigh..so you
