Could do, as a ex-shed denizen several years before your time! Very Impressive is very much still around and Thorin the Incorrigible was doing a courier stint until relatively recently, Pete is known to peruse this ng too. (*waves*, ps. want those beer fermenters back at some point?)

BTW, Andy (fixamytosis) is in hospital apparently. Something about a bike-failure on a downhill and is now in Austin(?) with one of them scary head/neck/bolt arrangements!!! as posted elsewhere...

"He was out training in the hills, hit a pothole, the front wheel came out and over he went. He got himself home somehow but was encouraged to go to the doctor and he was quickly passed on to specialists who could not believe he was standing in front of them.

He is now at the Austin Hospital with a halo brace screwed to his head and shoulders. I don't have first hand updated info so we can't be counting our chickens but given the fact he walked in, I'd guess the prognosis for a full recovery is good.

At this stage they're only letting immediate family visit.

Probably the most disconcerting news this week was hearing about PBP finisher Steve Agnew being clipped by a truck, apparentely it caught a rear pannier and dragged him some distance. Returns from France after completing 1200km in under 90 hours, then rides his bike in Melbourne.

These days I'd use MOSFETs. 1kV 6A (use at 200VDC) ones are about $10 US.
