...and don't forget the teepee...
Long, long ago and far, far away I worked in a hotel on the ocean.
Always knew when the Japanese tour groups had checked in: footprints on the
toilet seats. When I asked..... "You actually *sit* on that thing????? You mean you actually
let it touch your *skin*???". Couldn't think of a comeback at the
time...still can't.....but still do.

beaches and take cameras but don't take off their white gloves..Oh and I hear squatting is much better for your bowels than sitting, makes
sense to me. -

not wearing. They would routinely change clothes at the beach - not doing the
towel dance or anything...just taking all their street clothes off and the
putting their beach clothes on. But the way they would do it and where on the
beach they would do it you really would have had to stare unnaturally to see
anything.

if I recall the bizarre photos I've seen, they mostly involve a regular
toilet seat, and alongside it some kind of upturned squirty thing with
different temperature water (sometimes both are integrated I guess).
squatting, bah. fine for the wilderness, but let's get real here.and why are their feet so dirty? probably from standing on toilet seats
with footprints on them ;-) so which came first, the footprint or the
dirty feet...bri

However, I'm not sure I'd be smiling like the guy in the last frame.

I work with a guy that bought a $300 toilet seat for his fat-ass wife,
because she was to big to reach around and wipe. Guess that's one reason
having the squirty thing. -

I read somewhere (long time ago...) that arthritis of the knee is endemic in
Japan.

endemic in Japan.Seriously? Well then they should stop this 'kneeling-while-crapping' thing
and see if it helps! At long last my contribution to humanity...
