    (That's a link to a story saying Pope B16 obstructed justice regarding
    sexual assault between priests and minor children.)

    Be interesting to see the Pope brought up on charges. Is the Vatican
    part of EU? Does international law apply? Is boy buggering even
    against the law in the Vatican? Would the Pope stay in the Vatican to
    avoid persecution by police from other nations?

    I'm seeing a parallel here with doping and cycling.

    Dopers = priests
    Dopage = altar boys
    "they all do it"

    I just can't believe all the puff pieces being written about this guy.
    That's why I posted that. He's been the conservative "enforcer" for
    years at the Vatican. Now everybody's playing the kinder, gentler spin?
    I guess that leopard and his spots is actually a Tabby. Uh-Huh....

    [Benny 16 getting the First Place trophy]

    Damn. If the Catholic Church is really serious about
    reversing its decline in Europe, the least they could
    do is bring in some better podium girls.
