Question: Whould You Buy the DVD ?

    - Yes
    - No
    - Maybe
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    yow, what's up America?

We in Sweden is in the thoughts of doing a DVD that may be in stores
for sell until the next winter. But we are curious of how many of you
who will be willing to buy the DVD for a reasonable prize with a lenght
bout' 25 minutes with bonus materials and so on.

I do not have the specifics of the DVD yet, becouse the making of the
dvd and the shooting has not been started yet. We are looking for
    inspiration and so on.

And does someone know if you haft to have some sort of contract,
agreement or some sort of connection to the artists of the songs that
may be connected to the DVD. And if so, what can I do about that?

And do not assume the DVD's content and the DVD's edit by prewies films
because this is something totally new.

    Please vote, for our advantage.

  2. Hi! Is this Simon Jatko? I have seen a film of Simon Jatko and Andreas
Hornman from Sweeden and it was fantastic! Definately one of the best
street and trials unicycling movies I've seen! If this is Simon I will
    definately buy the DVD!

  5. Aww wow! My brother showed me a film by you guys and you rocked! I'd
definately buy the DVD (i've already voted though!).

I saw the film with the Cunning Linguists, Corporate Circus and
Hardcore Superstars soundtrack. It inspired me to get back on my
unicycle after about 6 months of not cycling anywhere! Congratulations!
    Keep them coming!

The sound track was great too! I've even got a few Hardcore Superstar
    albums now! 🙂

ps-It's not just America on this forum! I'm from the UK!

  8. It may be hard to know if you would buy it becaouse there are no teasers
or diverse. It would be minder to concer this voting after the teaser
are relased, so I'll digg it up in few month.

But I'm still curious about the choice of music, do you haft to have
    permission or something ?

    Peace out.

  9. Hey what's up?
Yeah I would but one. There riding is good now but over the last half
year or year they have improved more than any one i've seen. I think
it's more the curiousity of what they'll be throwing down that causes
such an interest in what they will be making. I wish them best of luck,
and I believe they won't let down. Good luck.

  14. How much is "reasonably priced"? How much would shipping and tax be
aswell? I wouldn't advise selling them for anything more than the
Defect or Universe movies. Perhaps a little less?

  16. I know you have to get permission from artists to use the music, at
least in North America, but I have no idea how. Technically, all the
music we toss into our amateur vids is illiegal, but they generally
    ignore it.

When you make the video though try and do an NTSC master as well as a
PAL master... N. America uses a different format than Europe, which was
a minor problem with the One Wheel Addiction DVD.

If you can't master both ways, at the very least do NOT set a region
code on the DVD. I found that most dvd players can play the OWA in PAL
format no problem, they change it automagically (the exception being a
friend's player that assumes if the disc is PAL that it's not in the N.
    America region, and therefore illiegal.)

  18. First of all it will be better quality then the previous online movies.

Second of all the "agreement" stuff I must check further into and
thanks for the 411 with the NTSC I can probly fix that. The prize and
other I can't tell now, but it will surtenly be cheaper then Defect and
those videos. I'll see that further down the year.

    Peace-

  19. For the money, I thought Defect was pretty good, it was longer than most
(I'm guessing the 40 min run time was for possible TV appearances, it
would come out to about an hour with commercials) the 40 min was almost
10 minutes longer than U2, was about double that of Spaced Out...
Plus, all the bonus stuff easily makes it an hour I'd say.

Oh yeah, before you send the master out to be duplicated, watch it on a
TV... well, I'm not sure about PAL, but NTSC tv's cut off a bit of the
edges, so titles and stuff have to fit. Spaced Out had that problem
where some titles were off screen on the TV, but were fine on a
computer. (I would like to point out that I thoroughly enjoyed Spaced
Out, the riding was excellent, there just wasn't enough 😉)

Oh yeah, and have someone who's colorblind look over the menus... I
can barely make a selection on the Defect menu's because I can't tell
the difference between black and the shade of red that was used... 😉
