Doesn't seem to offer that many options to be honest, it won't let you
define a specific screen area (at least it doesn't seem to let me do that).
I'd strongly recommend using Hypersnap for screengrabs (there's a free early
version available somewhere if you can find it). You can define a specific
region that you draw on the screen, with the aid of a magnifying glass and
an x,y readout, for pixel perfect grabbing. So for example you could define
a 1200x800 region corresponding exactly to the map grid squares you want to
capture.
You can then tell it to Repeat Last Capture, which is great for capturing
multiple map segments. You just scroll the map using the *cursor keys* and
grab the next segment. When you use the cursor keys, the map moves in set
increments, so the squares will line up perfectly with the screen region you
defined for the first grab.
Hypersnap can save directly to the clipboard if you want, which is ideal for
pasting different map sections together in another program. If you use a
program like Photoshop, you can define a grid and snap to it, which makes
pasting different map sections together a snap!
