Just a bit of riding, but to be honest, these are from car trips from the
last month or two. I just had the pictures on my phone and didn't get the
opportunity to retrieve them and attach a story to them until just now.

Tallahassee had some nice riding on the west outskirts of town. I was
surprised by the number of roads that had spacious bike lanes. I took
whatever roads had bike lanes and kept going... not too far, of course, lest
I lose my way, but it was far hillier than Gainesville has ever been. Lots
of out-of-the-saddle fun!

Good, good. I was gonna say, here in Tampa we've got rides that people pay money
for. Find your way to Lettuce Lake Park to park and suit up and then point your
bike east. Huge sweet lanes, swoop into Flatwoods park for the Bonneville salt
flats of paved cycling trails and bounce out in any direction and back out onto
the roads.

Hills, we can't even compete with Gainesville, much less Tallahassee. But we've
got most everything else.

It was "Home of the $675 ti frame" about 10 years ago, so it IS moving
up... just very slowly. I have introduced a couple models that are
pricier though, if that makes you feel better... ;-) A
'cross/touring frame for $749 and the Team Issue road frame for $795
(oval down tube and S-stays). And the new Habby TwoPepper tandem
frame is gonna be quite a bit over $695, trust me... ;-)

mainland tallahasse is a nice place filled with intelligent people
and off course has nothing whatsoever to do with any of the other parts
that are somewhat diverse accepting snowbirds from ohio or nyc.
try that in West palm or miami and you'll find a dead owl smeared on
it.
