1) Cofidis and Credit Agricole wouldn't have let Boonen get up the road away
in a break.
even if by some miracle Boonen were in the break, he wouldn't have been able
to keep up in the mountains. He's been spending the last month or two
specifically training to win group sprints while Hincapie has spent that
time training for the mountains.

Of course if you put both of them together in the final k of today's stage,
I'd put my money on Boonen 😉
