I`m selling one of my 3 Barons to raise funds to complete the buildup of the other 2 Barons. It is a Silver 2002 model with the standard height frame. I`ve put some graphics on it that I think makes it look a lot better. As far as components....it has some that are "brand new" with "zero" miles. These new parts include....a very nice set of Cannondale triple road cranks(170mm) The cranks are black with black chainrings which are 52-42-30........wheels consisting of Velocity Aeroheat rims, Shimano hubs, and some very nice Airborne titanium skewers....... SRAM PC-59 chain......Shimano Rapidfire shifters(9-speed).......Avid Speed Dial 5 brake levers......rear Ultegra long reach caliper brake. Other components which are not new that are in very good to excellent condition are.....front Ultegra long reach caliper brake......Shimano XTR rear deraileur......12-27 Dura Ace Cassette......Ultegra triple front deraileur.......Ultegra triple bottom bracket.......Stelvio tires(front has about 500 miles on it....rear has 100)......Panoram computer (instruction booklet included) I have the computer calibrated very accurately......also included is a Mirrycle mirror.....The bike has a size large seat(fiberglass) and does not come with pedals.....$1750.00+shipping to lower 48 only.

Earl,
If you want to beat people, you should not tell them how to adjust their disc brakes so that they do not drag.
Will you be wearing the cycling outfit that Barb and Wendy gave you during the Easter ride? I would show up just to see that! 😉
Earl, you're just a lumber jack at heart. Just like dear mama.
BTW, the Lakes fit great and are way more comfy than the sandals. I'm really gonna kick my ass at NB this year. "Guess Who I Am" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:20040103173127.14410.00002272@mb- m28.aol.com...

He still moderates the Baron Owners group on Yahoo Groups.
I still have a Baron, although mine has gone through several frame replacements over the years. Apparently, I'm a bit on the heavy side for their older, non-heat-treated frames. The new ones are a different alloy and are heat treated. Nowadays, my M5 CHR and my NoCom get the bulk of my miles, but the Baron is still a joy to ride.
Easy answers for why someone would have three barons: To color-coordinate with your outfits! With a blue, yellow, and silver, you're pretty much covered to go with any outfit. Or, you could set one up for hills, one for flat, and weight-weenie one for 'special events.' I think Don had one of his down under 20 pounds at one point. The ten-spoke Corima wheels did not inspire confidence, though.
