Owing to the fact that since I got my own trike we hardly ride the tandem any more, and the equally important fact that Rob wants a Quest (or Banana as they were dubbed on the EcoTrip), we have decided to sell the GTT.
It was made in 2000, but hasn't had much use - probably more by other people than by us. The frame is blue, the seats are yellow and the stoker needs to be less than 5'10". It has custom TA cranks.

Ow. Ouch. Here I am, thinking about spending all my savings on a new degree, and first someone points me at a very good deal for a bass trombone and now this.
What limits the stoker length btw, legs? I am a bit less than 5'10" but with relatively long legs. Pete is short enough though 🙂
You don't really need to answer actually, this would cost serious money and we shouldn't do that...
Here I am, thinking about spending all my savings on a new degree, and first someone points me at a very good deal for a bass trombone and now this.
What limits the stoker length btw, legs? I am a bit less than 5'10" but with relatively long legs. Pete is short enough though 🙂

A bit late there, Tony. Ever since a conversation going "I know someone selling a recumbent, I'll give you his number" a few years ago I've been sliding progressively down it ;-/
While cycling down through town on the 8 last night a bit of "Man on a comedy bike!" mutual finger pointing went on as I met a pal cycling home on his newly acquired Kingcycle. A lot of those slippery slopes around...

Yes, it's basically leg length. I'm 5' 4" with short legs (but a large behind which adds to the length from seat to crank.). Rob is just under 6' and long legged and adjusting the cranks so that he can pedal comfortably results in the pedals hitting the back of the seat....
