I was on my way home from the bike holiday with trailer and my new Allfa panniers containing luggage and 15 Beers in glassbottles(Ale no. 16 from refsvindinge brewery (can't get the stuff at reasonable price in Copenhagen)), and the front wheel bumped a bit all the way. I did notice a deformity on the tire, but thought I would make it home.
It decided to tease me a bit 10miles from home (62 miles into the ride), and blew out on a straight section at about 16mph. I managed to stabilize the bike with the feets so i didn't fall. I did't notice much difference from a regular front wheel puncture, I had one erlier that day going slightly downhill. By the time I noticed the problem and applyed the rear brake, the rim was bumping away on the ground. Now the soles are properly worn in.
The tire : IRC roadlite 451*32 (20" * 1 1/8) with about 1500miles on it - blowout right in the middle of the pattern - I think from a erlier cut (3mm long) pressure - 100psi (specified max pressure) I had about 70kg's on the front wheel.

Dude don't take risks with tyres... Next time you might not be so lucky and that would be a shame.
I rode home yesterday with a thumbtack in my front tire. I was afraid to remove it lest all the air came with it. I hit a road cut and the tac fell out and the air held. Tire = 110 psi Hookworm. I almost swung by to help you test that they were alright yesterday. ;o) Figured you'd be slaving at work tho. Was going Amager- Hillerød- Hornbæk- Helsingør and back but it was noon when I got to Hillerød and ate some lunch. Its nice to be a freelancer. ;-)
Well, you should have. I was working home, because Maja stated pre-school. But I envy your Freelance status sometimes.

Actually you wont then. ;-) I don't have time to ride there, so I was considering getting a lift with him too. Havent actually got around to asking however and work might be dicey. Will know tomorrow.
