  3. any old skate shoe works for me, they have great grip on pinned pedals
and a large surface area which seems to help me with control.

  4. I'm a pretty good freestylist and I ride in DC Stars and Straps. Just
regular, good quality skate shoes. Here's a pic of me riding in them:

  6. I wear converse yes. But i wouldnt say they were the best for freestyle.
I think it depends. I like them because one, my feet are small and thin
so converse fit properley where some skating shoes are too wide. They
have a nice sole which grips the tyre well and i can stand up on the
frame without worrying that my feet are too big and will slip off.

I also wear vans sometimes but find they can grip the tyre a bit too
    much when gliding.

Converse are quiet thin because of the canverse so doesnt give your foot
much support sometimes. But they seem to work for me.
