Free hub doesn't click?

It means buy a Hugi, or a Chris King hub. The freehub body is on its way out. OR there is too much
grease in the pawls not allowing them to engage properly. Making it silent.

Hmmm...AFAIK, its the same model as what the bike originally had (Shimano
M525). Unless the first one didn't click either and I didn't notice it.

I've just bought a new bike and mine does'nt click. But I seem to remember as a kid (50 years ago)
folding a piece of cardboard and jamming it behind a brake mech so that it clicked on each spoke as

If you use too heavy a grease in the hub assembly it won't click for a while, but it'll eventually
start ticking once things loosen up a bit.
