  1. Today's "Frazz" comic was pretty good. Skinny guy is
asking the portly school athletic director if he watched
Paris-Roubaix on Sunday. Of course, the coach only watches
    "real sports".

Frazz is not up on this stuff. If you're going to make a
savvy tease of the coach in this case, the coach should have
been giving the Masters as the example of the real sport he
    was watching.

Just for fun, lets take a poll. Who's the better athlete?
    John Daly or George Hincapie?

When people say someone is a "better athlete", that's
usually independent of the sport they do. It typically
refers to a person's strength, endurance, quickness, speed,
etc, and not how good they actually are at any given sport.
You see it all the time in various popular sports like
football (American), basketball, etc: they'll say that
someone is a great athlete, but needs to polish his/her
skills before they become great at their sport. Or even the
other way around: somebody's not the greatest athlete, but
has tremendous skills which make up for it.

LOL...must be. I think a better way to phrase the question
    is, Who's the fitter athlete?

Nope, but I think John Daly would cream Hincapie on any
course at any time, even if Hincapie does have a handicap,
    which I doubt.

He's one of those fat guys (5' 11", 230 lbs!!) who makes
their living by swinging a stick at a small ball. The
"sport" (such as it is), is called "golf".

FWIW, I've informed my kids and my loved ones that if I ever
express an interest in this "sport" that they should take me
out and shoot me forthwith, because it will be a clear sign
    of impending dementia.

His ex-wives take most of that. He makes his living
selling tacky autographed golf accessories out of the back
    of his RV.

He's an overweight golfer on the PGA tour.

  14. He has also had a terrible drinking problem and when he
plays bad he gets extremely upset and falls apart, quits in
the middle of the round. He made his first impact by being a
second alternate for a PGA event, drove there in 12 hours
directly to the course, and won about 10 years ago. He had
long drives before Tiger came up with longer drives.

=v= Past appearances of Mr. Hacker (the gym teacher):

Hacker: So, did you catch the big game on TV? Frazz: No, I
was out mountain biking. Hacker: I thought you were into
sports. Frazz: Sometimes I'm amazed Mr. Hacker can feed and
dress himself. Caulfield: His socks don't match and he's
    eating pork rinds for lunch.

Hacker: Got any big plans for the weekend? Frazz: Mountain
biking. Hacker: Isn't that rough on the environment? Frazz:
No. Golfing at a huge, new resort build on formerly pristine
lakeshore is rough on the environment. Hacker: Don't look at
me. I use those new spikeless shoes.

Frazz: Mr. Hacker insists bicycling is not a real sport.
Clutch: Well, it doesn't have any of the four Bs. Frazz: The
four Bs? Clutch: Batting, Bodychecking, Betting and
Cheerleaders. Frazz: Cheerleaders doesn't start with "B."
Clutch: The parts Mr. Hacker watches do.
