If the Council's statement that 1 in 4 cyclists who crossed the two foot stretch were killed is true
then that is one dangerous stretch of road. You would have thought that Framley cyclists would make
massive detours rather than take such risks

The bit about the 'racist' attack sounds funniest, - quote "an unprovoked attack on a young man
preparing for a quiet family christmas by nailing a 15ft neon swastika to hs roof"
Where is this - Mississippi in deepest Norfolk? Who does this page? Alan.

Absolutely, but why should they? The Council are paying lipservice by putting in this cycle lane
when a complete redesign of the junction is clearly necessary. What's more the mayor of Framley has
repeatedly wittered on about how the death toll could be dramatically reduced if the cyclists of
Framley were to wear helmets, in fact he has even suggested compulsion through the application of an
ancient bye law brought in to protect the yeomanry. Many other boroughs have similar bye laws
languishing on their statute books and this could be the thin end of a very large wedge indeed. He
has also suggested that the four speed cameras protecting this junction be removed, apparently the
fact that the motorists cross the junction at just 12mph is responsible for all of the deaths to
cyclists. As a businessman the mayor is not only the single largest individual sponsor of BeHIT but
he is also rumoured to fund a Scottish road safety lobbying organisation. I suggest all right
thinking readers of urc write to the mayor of Framley asap, his email address can be found on the
Framley government website.

I don't know who does it, but my friend Dai Infidel does. Apparently she wants to hate it after one
of those responsible started a rumour that she had appeared in a [censored] film (untrue), but fails to do
so, coz it's funny.

Hutton: Nobody is asking why Blair was so keen to have a damaging inquiry into a minor side-issue of
going to war.
So, what has he successfully deflected media attention from?

But the only alternative is to go right round via Flapton Nogley, which is a heck of a detour.

It's an image, Nick. You need to turn images on. On this occasion it is worth it - genuinely funny.

It seems a very bike friendly area altogether though, check out "Bike Safety Initiative".

Hmm... maybe not, according to another article on the same page a composer has applied for the
rights to the key of F Major. I believe this is the note Sheldon Brown recommends we tighten our
spokes to so I think there is a conspiracy to get at us :-(
