I am in need of a new paint job on my Colnago & wondered if you could direct me to some good painters? I think I might want to re-create the original paint job. I have dealt with a couple of painters in the past, but they are either out of business or the experience was less than pleasant. Airglow is out, for this reason. Nice paint job, but getting information from them is worse than root canal. I know about CycleArt & Spectrum Powder Works. Anyone else I should check out? I live in Virginia & would love someone semi-local, but I'll take what I can get if they are good. Thanks.

We use Waterford and we're quite satisfied. We may have your transfers, too, depending on year.

Arguably, the very best in the U. S. is Joe Bell, in La Mesa California. No great paint job will be cheap and the more intricate, such as the 'Nago patterns, will be more than a single color. He did the paintwork on my 'new' Kirk and it's fantastic!
I second the recommendation for Joe Bell. However, he's in Spring Valley, California.

Also consider Brian Pritchett of Cycledelic Designs, 940-382-8273 or [email hidden]. He does Colnago repaints for the US distributor, Trialtir, so can match your Colnago just like a factory paint job.
He refinished a vintage Cinelli Supercorsa and Colnago Super of mine, and they are gorgeous.
