though - the sparks did fly......

    World's "longest"??

I found another box of old bike parts! Sheesh!
There's an old/worn Aheadset here (1 1/8th though so no good I guess?).

You could always buy Vegemite - it has a new 1" headset fitted..

Or you could buy the new 1" threadless Miche one I have laying around or
buy the red Apollo that might go on ebay soon..

    hippy 🙂

I thought you were going to contain your Ebay ads to one thread Gemma, oops, I mean Hippy.

Perhaps not the worlds longest, but definately more funny lookin' than most. There's a gap of about 4 inches between the wheel and the downtube. But yes, I should turn some more beer into fixies through beerbay. Just haven't had time, working a three whole days a week and all..... I'll do some measuring and thinking and get back to you.

Mr Dutch, until you can bunny hop your fixie over fallen riders, you're not hardcore. (I know the bloke PH is referring to, it's fair to say he's relaxed on a fixie).

Now that I've finished gloating and slandering, has anyone thought of combining the Birdy bunch with the Fixie bunch? Now that would freak out some tri dorks.

must go down to the kid's school where they have one of those 'soft' palygrounds where I can have less fear of the inevitable tumbles whilst I 'bust-a-fixie-groove'

A folding fixie? nah, way too practical!

simple, just fix the birdies and then they belong with the fixie bunch.

are there any birdies in the fixie gallery? Could this be a chance to be the first!
