Hi All,
I have been away on a long driving trip visiting my daughter and family, and
then my mom. My WOE remained fine and the only trouble I had was with my mom
who INSISTS I need to eat bread because it's "BRAIN" food!. I left N.C. at
150 and returned home 2 weeks later at the same weight. YEA!
I had not shopped for 2 weeks and when I did go last week, I bought Bryers
Carb Smart Ice Cream. This was the biggest mistake I have made in a while
(aside from the problem I have with nuts). This, for me, is the green light
to eat all and everything. I was ok with it for a few days, only having 1/2
cup. (I'm on maintenance) Then, the proverbial substance hit the rotating
blades and I was eating the entire container. Thank goodness I did not real
harm weight wise, but I will NEVER buy that again. It's so delicious, that I
could not stop eating it.
Well, live and learn I guess. It was not a planned cheat, but it was a cheat
due to the amount I ate. Believe it or not, that gave me the courage I
needed to stay on this program to undo any damage done. My weight is back to
150 (I'm 5 feet 10 inches tall) and I at least tasted the 'real' stuff for
the first time in 1 year and three months.
Thanks for listening.
Jo-Ann
