personality is reflected by television interviews - but he's an amazing
bike racer. With 5 Km to go it looked completely impossible for McEwan to
get back in...

Don't you ever wonder how often other sprinters are fouled up by their own
train, while an opportunist like Robbie ignores his team mates when somebody
else has the better wheel?

Regardless, Robbie's speed coming to the line made the rest of the field
look like they were going backward.

I didn't watch, but was reading the cyclingnews "live" coverage later,
and when they were saying the peloton was not strung out at all with a
few K to go I thought "Oh, McEwen may come back." Bingo. But I don't
like the guy either. Great rider too.

Today it sounds like he had to use his "train" -- they helped him
catch up in the last 10K.

Last year didn't he have an awesome leadout man in the big tours?

15:41 BST He blasted through the pack with such a turn
of speed that Boonen's hair flew forward with the gust
of wind. Thor Hushovd got second on the far right ahead
of Boonen.
