  1. If Footon-Servetto can sign riders like Cunego, Menchov and Kreuziger, they'll end up one of the stronger teams. They have plenty of young guys to support the leaders 🙂

  2. But yet still with a truly ugly kit. Man, really? A giant foot? And 2 tone brown?

Agreed their kit is cr@p 🙂

Horrible. You can see the embarasment on the riders faces when they know the camera is on them.

  5. But if you buy their kit, you know you'll be unique.
I mean, who else would buy it?

  6. where did these transfer rumours bubble up, steve?

as there will be no Footon-Servetto 2011, the kit is discussion is pointless

Footon-Servetto to become Team Geox from 2011 and talking to Damiano Cunego

An ex rider call into my house for a few hours friday night. That article on velonation.com pretty much confirms it tho. I should keep a closer eye on that site, its probably the best site for news these days. 😉

NEWS ? the velonation.com article is more than 2 weeks old...I only gave that one as an example. It has been widely reported on other european sites for just as long. Their latest signing is Duarte....

  10. I wonder if Sastre would sign for them if the kit was going to stay the same.
On second thought, Sastre in Footon kit would be perfect match.

  11. Sastre IS moving to Geox

  12. roman kreuziger to astana. vino says, "vino happy. vino have someone new to race against in team!"

  13. Interesting to see Menchov and Rogers mentioned. In some ways its nice to see Geox reject Lampre, given Sarroni's copycat tactics of Savio when it comes to hiring ex-dopers because they're cheap.

If they can secure Damiano Cunego and Janez Brajkovic, they could be one of the stronger teams 😎

    Menchov signs with Geox
Russian leaves Rabobank, joins Sastre on Spanish squad

2009 Giro d'Italia champion and two-time Vuelta a España winner Denis Menchov has signed with Team Geox, the squad of Mauro Gianetti confirmed today.

The 32-year-old Russian has been with Rabobank since 2005, but will now join 2008 Tour de France winner Carlos Sastre on the Spanish team for the next two years.
