  1. Hi

Earlier this year I decided to train and complete my first tri-athlon.
I picked up a book that was recommended to me by many of my already
Tri-ing friends. Triathloning for the Ordinary Mortal. I am 13 weeks
through the 52 week program and I have over the last two weeks
developed an acute pain in my left foot.

The pain is located inline with my second smallest toe about 55%
percent the length of the foot from the toes. Right as the foot starts
to taper up to the ankle.

The pain has stopped me from walking without a limp and is only
relieved when I walk without any shoes on. I am planning to see a
physio this week but I thought someone may have experienced this and
may know some tricks to get me back up and running.

I am doing some other cardio work to keep up my aerobic base but I want
to get back into the program.

    Any help would be great.
    Thanks
    Josh
