Raised on a farm, I will say geese are incredibly stupid and
gluttonous and will happily eat till they burst without
being force fed. They will gobble to a happy demise.

The law wouldn't go into effect for almost 8 years. There's
also a bill to ban farm-raised salmon, too.

Geese are mean as hell. Peacocks too. I will not even go
into the Swans, being the meanest of all. I was not raised
on a farm but visited a family pork farm every summer,
during my formative years. The geese were greedy and when
you ran out of food they would peck/bite you... HARD. I had
stitches from the Swans on more than one occasion. I think
Jon had the right idea though. Treat them humanely and then
eat them. The sows were mean too. Didn't like them one bit.

spatula hairbag and back away from the stove HANDS IN THE
AIR!!" A few diners caught with the illicit substance are
cuffed, leg-ironed and hooded, then whisked off to Gitmo for
some "pre-interrogation softening up."

Seems like it ends up pretty much the same for the goose
either way, so what does it matter?
