There is not really an Edinburgh Festival. I assume that it will be part
of the Film Festival as it doesn't really fit into the International Festival
(opera, dance, theatre and stuff like that) nor the Fringe.

There is not really an Edinburgh Festival. I assume that it will be part
of the Film Festival as it doesn't really fit into the International Festival
(opera, dance, theatre and stuff like that) nor the Fringe.

It is part of the Edinburgh Film Festival - its will
be shown on its opening night August 14th.

There is more than one festival going on in Edinburgh during August. You
have the "Festival" that is the arty one, the Fringe, a book festival &
a film & TV one. They are all independent, but occur at the same time.
It makes cycling fun with the masses of tourists spilling off the
pavements, but I wouldn't want it any other way.

As Andy says, it's part of the film festival rather than the fringe or
any other bits.

Besides, it isn't a straight documentary - it has acting and scripts
and stuff. Johnny Lee Miller plays Obree. It also has Steven Berkoff in
it (method acting the part of the washing machine, I expect).

And according to the imdb, Moray Hunter (one of the Absolutely team)
plays a character billed only as "Armstrong" - I have no idea if it is
/that/ Armstrong, but if it is, that sounds like something that /must/
be seen!

It might be, but only if they're not bothered about a dumpy wee bloke
playing a wirey cyclist (well he always looked wee next to Jack
Docherty).
