  1. According to Sports Illustrated

    9. "American cyclist Floyd Landis says he will need a hip replacement after
he finishes the Tour de France, in which he is currently running second.
French newspaper Le Monde is already decrying the potential "bionic" hip as
    an unfair advantage."

    Kinda funny I thought.

Cool! So if I get my legs whacked off & get me a couple of prosthetic
legs, I could be a contender??!! Hey, Doc!......

They do face transplants in France now. Ask Lance if he's finished with his ...
You might get to win a straight eight.

Couldn't find any Le Monde article (on the web) that actually says
that. Nevertheless, should consider the possibility that, like that
Derby racehorse, they might have to put the poor fellow down.

By the way, if you like comedy, try running this article
    http://www.lemonde.fr/web/article/0,1-0,36-794319,0.html
through Google translate. "Hunters of wood pigeons"???
I think it's actually harder to understand after so-called
translation, even if you don't read French.

I believe that it is called parody.

Well, I already pointed out that there seems to be something perverse
    happening with American TdF winners.

Greg won it on only one lung
Lance won it on only one nut

And now Floyd wins it on only one hip.

    What next, Zombie George Hincapie?
