  1. Today I was over at Trader Joe's stocking up on yogurt. Two women were
also shopping for yogurt. Noticing a brand of yogurt and speaking to
myself, aloud, I asked "Water Buffalo Yogurt?"

A moment later one woman commented, here's the water buffalo yogurt. I
said "I didn't know they made yogurt out of water buffalos." OK, that
didn't faze them. One woman looked at one and said "Oh, 260 calories!"
and put it back. The other woman sighed in agreement and all I could say
was "and oh, so good for you!" We all had a chuckle.

Nice move! I usually try stuff like that in either the produce departments,
due to shapes and low temperatures, respectively. :-)

Let me guess... you ask them if the melons are fresh? 😉

Jill, that would be tacky. No words are necessary in the produce department.

  7. Earlier this week I was shopping, this elderly gentleman
asked me for help, he was looking for the prunes ... or
the dried plums. Now I'm thinking ... maybe he was
    flirting with me. Hmmmm.
