Flaxmeal Cereal & Bellyaches?

  1. Anyone out there have awful stomach aches after eating the Flaxmeal Hot
    Cereals? I wonder if it's the fiber that I'm having a problem with or a
    possible allergy to the product? There's no sugar alcohols in them, or that
    would be an obvious cause.

  2. I got some cramps from eating ground flax, you may have to get used to it
    slowly. The Flaxmeal cereal never bothered me, though.

    Oatmeal and other high fibers often have the same effect on newbies.

  5. The sudden increase in omega-3 from the flax can also be a problem for some
    people. You may need to start with small amounts and work your way up to a
    standard serving.
