    No, it was just a little crack at the number of Master's categories.
    Since there's a lot of categories, there's going to be a lot of jerseys to
    be given to the winners, and the UCI has to buy those jerseys. I rode by
    three "Elite World Champions" yesterday (heh).

    There may be even more awarded this year due to the events popularity and
    deeper competition in the oldest mens and womens categories (addition of a
    60+ womens and 70+ mens category is possible if recent years attendance
    trends continue).

    BTW - the blue/rainbow jerseys awarded at World Masters Track
    (www.cyclingmasters.com) are provided and paid for by the promoter, Brian
    Cossavela (IMPSPORT) - not the UCI.

    AFAIK, the promoter of the World Masters road events in Austria is in the
    same boat.
