Landis, ex-Health Net together under OUCH
After a lot of speculation, the replacement for Health Net as title sponsor of the four-time top NRC men's team is now official – OUCH Sports Medical Center, based in Temecula, California, will take over the sponsorship of the team run my Momentum Sports Group, to be officially named OUCH presented by Maxxis. As well, it is confirmed that Floyd Landis will join the teamfollowing the end of his suspension in January of 2009.

Presumably USADA will be monitoring Landis closely if he does in fact race after his suspension ends.

What a joke! Landis is a has-been that really never was, and RR is obviously just trying to garner the spectacle audience with the hope of selling more $300+ pairs of jeans...I know of so many more deserving racers, even up here in BC, that deserve a pro contract more than this washed up guy...did he even race for Ouch last year?? Still racin' and getting paid on his infamy...lame...

Ok, Here is what I dont get.

Landis claims that the elevated testorone was part of his natural chemistry. If that is the case won't he still test positive.

If he test negative on a consistent basis, doesn't that blow the argument that he natually has a high value for testosterone.

Only thing going for Lance is performance consistency.

I saw a bit of Floyd in the TOC last year. He rode like a very big bag of very slow spanners. I would be amazed if he made much of an impact. I doubt he'll sell many jeans for that matter but I don't think I'm in the target market.

The thing is, I do think Floyd riding to a high level again would be impressive after the hip business. At least it's more impressive than just having a bollock chopped off.

LOL! Unfortunately?! Yeah, it's a pretty sad thing ol' Floyd got busted for cheating. Poor, poor Floyd...But since the bust, Floyd has surely shown how truly great a cyclist he is...

What we have here folks is a bona fide doping apologist...and that's truly unfortunate...
