Whats the deal with TrainerRoads Bluetooth sensor connection problems on iOS, is it just a given that well have to restart our devices and the app every time we want to use it, or is there a real fix out there. Every time I try to connect my Bluetooth sensors, the app either cant find them, or its a hit or miss whether theyll actually connect and stay connected throughout the workout. Ive tried resetting the sensors, updating the app, and even deleting and reinstalling it, but nothing seems to work consistently.
Ive seen some people mention that its an iOS issue, while others claim its a TrainerRoad problem, but at the end of the day, I just want to be able to use the app without having to waste 10-15 minutes trying to get my sensors to connect. Has anyone found a reliable solution to this problem, or are we just stuck with it.
Ive also noticed that some sensors seem to work better than others, but even then, its not like theyre immune to the connection problems. Ive got a mix of Wahoo and Garmin sensors, and while the Wahoo ones seem to work a bit better, theyre still not perfect.
Is there something that Im missing, or is this just the reality of using TrainerRoad on iOS. Ive heard that the Android version is more stable, but Im not about to switch to Android just to use a cycling app.
