  2. My worst enemy on the road is head winds. My biggest motivator of the four that you have mentioned is the racing-like club ride. While I no longer compete, I still have a little competitive spark left.

  5. Headwind and hills/mountains.
    Unfortunately every route in my locality has either one, or worse still both, obstacles. The wind whipping in off the Atlantic coast is ever present.

  6. Worst Enemy: Intersections I have to stop at or hills.

    Motivator: Passing other riders.

  7. One vote Headwinds. Switching to clipless this year sure has helped in that regard but it's still tough.

  8. I headwinds, but I get motivated by climbs. I don't think it has to do necessarily with fit or unfit but rather the individuals preferences and/or personality.
