Theoretically, Yes.

In practise, very unlikely now as the ACP have increased the entry number.

Yes, I spotted that too. Can't work out how he managed to maintain the necessary average
speed on it.

All these pics are making me more certain that I have to do the PBP in 2007. I spoke to an old
friend the other day who is also very interested. We used to cycle when we were at school together
(IOW and Normandy/Brittany). We also have a friend who lives in St Meen le Grand, where we will be
able to rest. Does the route change much between events? We are trying to persuade him to take up
the challenge as well. He was also a regular on some of our tours.

Not that much. Some minor changes, but AFAIK, less than 10% of the route was changed between '99 and
2003. But some of the changes could be due to 'film-rupture' in my brain.
