Hello there fellow cyclists!
I recently started riding my trusty Trek 4300 mountain bike around for good distances to get some exercise. This afternoon I had gone to my local bike store to take a look at buying a new bike that would be better for the type of riding that I plan to keep on doing; which is road riding. Since this is my first road bike I wanted to keep a low budget since I will probably buy another in the future!
After looking around I decided to go with the 2013 Trek 1.1 road bike. I had read many great reviews about this being a fantastic entry level road bike and can't wait to start putting miles on it. They didn't have my size in stock but come next week I will have it all to myself! Considering I go atleast 20 miles a ride on my current mountain bike I hope to double that at some point.
I was also hoping to get some insight on a few products out there and what would be the best quality for the money:
cyclometer
apparel
seat
gloves
shoes
Truly happy to be apart of the cycling world!
