1. Heyo everyone! I'm from Appleton WI, and cycling group ride junkie. I travel from time to time, so I'm hoping to see how I can use this forum to find new rides.

  2. Are you one of those naked cyclists who stick in a rotten group of communists (the more the better right?) who cycle around town and whistle with whistles and generally dont really cycle or protest or anything but annoy people?

  3. If you mean naked, by wearing skinny jeans, Chuck Taylors, drink PBR and judge everyone with one look while criticizing them about their crappy choice of music. Then join my merry band of brothers/sisters who all have fixed geared bikes, and burn grits.....then no. I'm not that kind.

I like group rides, drinking a beer after, rinse, repeat.

You talk the talk... How long have you been "checking" these "group rides"?

  5. So much so, that I'm the founder of http://GroupRide.com. We launched it last year, doing a redesign of the site now (4 months until the new one), and we're reaching out to the rest of the midwest now building the directory of rides. I've been riding for 15 years. What about you...O' 20 question asker of "group rides".

I been to some very very bad group rides m8. Like, terrible ones... Not athletic at all, not recreational either, with a hint of activism and some very very "political" people...

    The website looks cool!

  7. Wow, that sounds awful. That would be cause for just splitting the group and starting to drop people.

Thanks, about the site. It's going to be changing a lot in the next 6 months. I'm not sure where you are located but we're building our database of rides quickly. If you know of any you can submit a ride.

Good luck on the search for non-activist group rides.

  8. Well I certainly wont be!
