First night ride

enjoy it ! It is fun! Trails you thought you knew , ride totally different.

One piece of advice, ( especially if you ride alone ) always carry some sort of spare lighting
device . like a flash light. Just incase you run out of battery or some othe sort of light failure.
I personally carry a 5 LED head lamp powered by 3 AAA that fits any where. .

Home made is the way to go, provided , you have spme idea what you are doing and are willing to
experiment. So I had one of my Home made units catch fire once, adds to the mystice.

Good idea. Except I've got all the bike stuff I need right now. (I really don't believe I just wrote
that!) I've been studying some home grown lighting recently, and it looks do-able. My two little tax
write-offs are financing this effort. (That, and uncle Sam being kind enough to make me a loan on
the money I've loaned him over the past year 🙁

Here's my problem. While I've got the mechanical aptitude, the experimentation aspect (read: TIME)
steers me away. I just don't have a lot of time to myself these days.
