Cool. That looks like a fun little playground.
I've had the same issues with sunlight on my cam and have been trying to
come up with a good polarizing filter for it which should help some (not
sure how much).

Now you need to dial in your mount to try and keep it level (also struggled
with that).

I think I'll just try to do filming when the sun is higher. When the
trees have filled in it should be a little better too.

I think the mount was good, mostly my head🙂 With all that weight
though I can't seem to find a way to really hold the helmet on well,
lots of jostleing

Glad you like it. I have bunch of non-rap/rock/punk music (well maybe

It will help very little.

The best solution is to make a lens hood out of tape and heavy
paper/plastic if you have to ride when the sun angle is low.

Cool but I'm from Florida. Those hills made me car sick.

Windows Media Video is the technology which is going to replace mpg and
VHS ---You can hate Microsoft as much as some people hated the introduction
of automobiles back in the beginning of the last century---Horses were much
cleaner than cars to the environment, and generally much more fun to
use...however, the use by the masses would inevitably change, and it did.
The same will occur with the Windows Media Video format---everyone with
Windows XP already has it, and PC's will continue to overwhelm and dominate
all computer sales to the masses. Unix and mac sales are to such a small
niche as to not even represent a significant market share--a share worthy of
a video producer concerning themselves about.

You can already play WMV files you downloaded from the internet into your
computer, on your TV set or big screen plasma. This was the idea behind the
Media Center edition of XP. It turns the computer into a symbiant with your
TV, allowing easier recording and playback than other alternatives, and it
represents the most likely future of rented movies ( top replace DVD and VHS
rentals).

The consumers as a mass, don't really care whether it is Bill Gates or some
nice independent with open code. What they do care about is ease of use,
free access, and what is already done for them--and Gates has this covered.
So the real question is, do you drive a car or do you drive a horse :-)

Unix does not figure into the world of consumer markets and buying
behaviors. Since consumer videos need to be aimed at consumers, I'd suggest
the video format needs only to be aimed at the consumers, not the computer
geeks who write the programs. 35 mm film is way better than mini DV for the
quality of most movies, but this will not make it as a consumer format in
the foreseeable future either :-)
