  1. Christingle! ARRGGHH! Lovely service for the kids, BUT there is the bun-fight after in village
hall... For this, this year, I made one of my famous Chocolate Christmas Cakes - for evil recipe,
hit URL below and hunt up the Christmas stuff. I had a couple or three tiny sandwiches, 4
breadsticks and a mini sausage roll. I counted 8 points in all. Thank heaven for low point soups! my
lads are having pork chops, brussels sprouts and potato waffles. I shall have a can of Baxter's
Healthy Choice Autumn Vegetable soup for 3 points. This will take my consumption for the day so far
to 20, so still inside my 22 point allowance.

I didn't eat any cake, and only one mini sausage roll, so I'm quite pleased with myself. ESPECIALLY
as I have my nuclear scan and pre-op assessment tomorrow!

  2. In an odd way, it is a comfort to me to know that our friends across the pond also find dietary
difficulty during the Christmas season along with us.

Hope your medical procedure goes well.

The trouble with this annual bun fest is that it is all home made stuff, and scrummy-yummy! MUCH
too tempting! However, it's one of the few eating-out type things I need to bother with, and the
others are all friends and family who know what I need and have options there that I can choose and
    be good! 🙂
