I am riding a bike for the first time in forty years. I can get a medal if I ride five miles in the up and downs of Ronse, we are in a valley. I am enjoying the freedom the bike gets me and go out everyday, I hope someday to ride to Gent, about forty K and back. eauxx

Been more or less off the bike for more than 1/2 year, due to the family commitments (new baby daughter)

have some more time to read this forum again.

Greetz,

6. Hi,

Are you familiar with the Ardennes region.......we will be cycling around this area (Bastogne) in a few weeks. Would you say the countryside is good, also, is it okay to take bikes on the trains?

Thanks.

Mark

7. I'm married to a Belgium & my 3 girls are Belgium's I guess but I'm from the UK😎 Raced in West Flanders for about 12years but now retired (on & off). Im still about in Ieper & always available for a training ride!

8. I'll bite .. not Belgian, but been here 12 years. Started riding last again last year .. though living in the centre of Brussels doesn't exactly make it easy.

If there's enough of us we could .. er .. get some T-shirts printed, or have a drink sometime or, shock/horror/gasp, go for a ride.

9. I'm origanally from Wales but do now have Belgian nationality.I've been here since 1992 and started cycling last year when I had to stop running due to back problems.I'm a member of the 4 Season Bikers ( http://www.4seasonsbikers.be/ ) club from Nerem,Tongeren and we cycle mostly in the Voeren district.

10. HI Phil,
Voice from your past. I am riding regularly in Belgium in WAOD events, and I would like to meet up with you for background advice.
I first raced in Belgium in 1953, so I think i am in the club. I am now living in France.
Let me have your e_mail address.
best wishes,
Trevor Fenwick.
