  1. For my weight I would like to start biking but would like some dirrection on
a bike that would hold my weight! I am currently 321 down from 349. I find
walking uncomfortable but would love to ride a bike again!

If price is no object, consider a Trike? I say this only because you
    indicated walking uncomfortable.

How did you lose the 30lbs, just diet?

There are many people heavier than you out there riding. Best advice is to
visit a few bike shops in your area (not sporting goods stores, but true
bike shops) and have them help you try out some stuff. If you get a bad
"vibe" from any of 'em, walk out and flash your plastic as you go. <eg>

    Good luck.

Yup.. I have not set up daily excersize yet. I keep putting it off 😉

  5. Get a bike with a sturdy frame - either a mountain bike or a hybrid bike (or
maybe a touring bike if you like "drop" handlebars).
Also - get well-built wheels, preferably with 36 spokes (or 40 if you can
    find them).
The most important thing is that the bike must fit you and you must feel
    comfortable on the bike.
For this reason I recommend that you go to a reputable bike shop where they
will help you in the proper selection and fitting of your bike.
Good luck- cycling is a great form of low-impact aerobic exercise, and many
members of this group have successfully lost weight.

  6. I weigh 280 pounds and have ridden a EZ-1
http://www.easyracers.com/ez_1_sc.htm for 2000 miles without anything
    breaking. About US$600 retail.

be ok between here and ASD L-C. This is a pict of the general type of
bike.. http://www.acdelcocertificates.com/ac1069-above.html it needs a new
front tire and maybe a new seat and the breaks need a little WD40
