The only "binding" I can imagine going on with that guy right now is
the slowly hardening cement around his ankles. Nobody crosses
Giancarlo Ferretti and gets away with it.

No way Sony's gonna be "bound". Sony is much, much, much bigger than
any of the other parties involved. Money=influence and
influence=getting your way.

rules called laws. When there is a representative of one or both parties
involved, the law of principal and agency comes into play. Real and
apparent authority are significant issues under US law when things go bad.
Some of the same principles are at work in the Continental legal systems as
well. Hence my question, regarding which you have neither relevant factual
information about the transaction nor the Continental legal knowledge to
reach a cogent opinion. In other words, you're still a moron and acting
