Fender kit

A fender installation on your EZ seems like a standard upright BMX
sized bike to me- front or back: wheel off, couple of screws, small
bolts and nuts on the back brace, or over the axle for the front
brace.

Scary, but not surprising that instructions are not included. I have
an EZ-3 tadpole coming, and I do not know what to expect!

Not quite that easy. The fenders did not come with screws bolts or nuts
that matched my application. That is what was throwing me off.
Once I tore in to it and realized don't pay attention to the screws and nuts
I managed to get it installed with 2 trips to a good hardware store to get
the proper length threaded product to work.

PS
I have never removed a rear wheel that had multiple speeds or hand brake
pads before so that was scary at first.
That is showing my age.
I do like the recumbent and can't wait for early spring to put some longer
times and miles on it.

I got some EZ3 fenders and put them on Terra Trike 3.3 with VERY
little difficulty, Pretty much bolt right on. (I had to drill ONE
hole! on each side!)the brackets are pretty easy to figure out unless
you got something vastly different than Idid. Front fenders are a
snappage! I put a set of fenders (freddies) on my vision and they
needed a little ingeneuity (mostly involving zip ties!) to set up
correctly, but Ihave thousands of miles on mine (at least 2000 miles
on the fenders, maybe more!) I have about 500 miles on the fenders on
my Terra Trike (700 miles on the trike) and ZERO problems. a bike
without fenders to keep glop off you, and a place to carry your
trash, is a TOY

I am sorry what is a LBS?

Local Bicycle Shop (or Local Bicycle Store) - this is one of the most
commonly used acronyms on cycling forums.

Since LBS's are usually not competitive with mail order outlets on
price, they can (and should) make up for it with service. (A LBS can
offer better value for the money in many instances by combining service
with a higher retail price).

If the shop is not interested in justifying their higher markup with
service, why not use mail order?
