I work for Channel 4 television, and we are currently producing a series on family life in the UK.
We are very keen to speak to fun loving families who stay fit and healthy by climbing and walking in
the British Countryside. The type of families that I'm thinking of are people who are active and
robust but who also appreciate the natural beauty surrounding them and the benefits of the quality
time spent with their family around the campsite and remote bed and breakfasts.
This is the third series of the documentary series, called Wifeswap. If you haven't seen it, in each
programme the mothers of two families trade places for ten days and take on each other's life. For
the first five days, the women have to run their new homes according to the rules of the house. But
in the second week, the new wife gets to implement her own house rules. This may mean that the
husbands now have to try to live healthier lifestyles, see more of the great outdoors, help with the
housework and spend more time with the children. Each programme concludes with the two couples being
reunited and a discussion about their experiences of the swap.
If you think that you might be able to help with our search, then I would love to hear from you.
Perhaps you know some great families yourself, or know where I would be able to get into contact
with them. It would also be fantastic if you could send an appeal out to your local club members.
