    That's not too unusual.

    That's, however, is rather troubling.

    And those are, what, exactly?

"Good shape" usually =/= "some heart problems".

Well, at least you have your priorities straight.

    Goa'uld possession is more likely.

    David,
What would you recommend to someone who lifts with
    MVP and unrelated arrhythmia?

    David,
What would you recommend to someone who lifts with
    MVP and unrelated arrhythmia?

I suppose that would depend on whether the mitral valve prolapse was severe
enough to be symptomatic, which it often isn't.

Unrelated arrhythmia? Occasional episodes of Torsades from all that crack
use? Again, depends on the details.

Gotcha. The arrhythmia was wpw. I had that fixed but still get apb's
occasionally, but no fibrillation any more.
I ask you 'cause my doctor says not to worry about anything but
obviously has no clue about weightlifting.

    Thx

Lifting weights would have no adverse effect on your heart, in that case.

The mitral valve prolapse would be more concerning with regard to
weightlifting, if it were symptomatic. But if it's not, it's not.

Your doctor is correct. (2/15/05, 0901 PST, make a note)

Now if you could only give up the crack 🙁

at least 1-2 allergy attacks everyday ! And my 3 year old son had a
serious constipation problem that no doctor was able to explain or help
..Well since Tahitian noni is in my familly , my allergies have lessened
, my husband is in full form when he wakes up and my son (who was going
to undertake surgery )has been cured for he pooh's regularly without
screaming! My mother takes it to boost her energy level and to boost
her sportive performance level ! She's 63 old woman and she windsurfs
    everyday !

You must lead a very boring existence PS, compelled as you are to

I have atrial fibrilation...my doc told me not to worry about it at all
as far as exercise is concerned.

  13. At some point, you should have it treated. After about 20 years after
mine was diagnosed, I started having problems that no one attributed
to the arrhythmia or the underlying cause. Without going into details,
    I can
tell you getting it treated was the best thing I ever did.

Only provided you are taking regular anti-coagulant medication!!

There's nothing to treat. The arrythmia was corrected the night I was
diagnosed. I've been told to cut down on the caffeine...suggested that
I could do the aspirin thing...that's it.
